Remembering and Celebrating Kathy Wiberg

Longtime Long Grove resident Kathy Wiberg passed away earlier this year after a long illness. Kathy moved to Long Grove in 1985 with her husband Kerry. She was active in many community activities, including the Conservancy Committee, Historical Society, the Garden Club and others. She always could be counted on to help out whenever called upon and her expertise in gardening, landscape design and sewing proved valuable when these skills were needed in the community. She loved to get her "hands dirty" in her vegetable and flower gardens and grew many of the vegetables served at meal time in the summer and fall. Kathy will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her.
